Strategic alliance is an agreement that takes place between two corporations with the intension of sharing resources, so as attained certain joint esteemed benefits for the involved parties. This is a business venture that enables the organization to cut costs through cost sharing efforts with the partnering corporation. Competence is attained through the embracing of collective and embedded skills that will improve the performance of the corporation. Vertical integration is attained through strategic alliance thrusting the organization into the diversification of the business activities to gain an increase in the client base of the corporation. Through this competitive advantage is attained as the organizations will utilize the development of the new product technologies that will potentially revive the operations of the partnering companies.
The Description of the Corporation in a Strategic Alliance:
The corporations that have been selected for the act of entering into a strategic alliance with others are inclusive of the following; SINA Company which is a Chinese leading media and internet service organization which is in a strategic alliance with NIKE the world leading company in the designs and marketing of the athletic wears to both genders.
