Compose a three to five (3-5) page paper on Academic Integrity and focus on the importance of academic honesty and presentation of original academic work. For successful completion, your paper must include three to five (3-5) peer reviewed sources and must be presented in APA format and style.

*To obtain the sources:

1. Log on to ecampus.phoenix.edu
2. Click on the Library Tab
3. Click on the University Library tab
4. Select a Major Database (For this example, I will use EBSCOhost)
5. Look on the screen for Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals
6. Click the box next to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals
7. Then search your keywords at the top of the screen.

*The journals you retrieve will be Peer Reviewed and acceptable for use in your paper.
*Remember that the three references MUST be peer-reviewed!

Academic integrity is important because it gives the assurance that you have satisfactorily gone through the academic work. In addition, it gives the assurance that the person gets full recognition for what she has accomplished. Academic honesty also has the importance of ingraining the habit of honesty in the student. The person learns to be upright and sincere in life. The person gains confidence in her abilities and gains confidence from academic accomplishments. Further, the person inevitably gains admiration and confidence of others. A student who is academically honest is respected by her peers, and professors.
