In order to update and replace a Human Resource Information System, company should develop understanding about new technology and changes in regulations by government. In this, company should aware about the new technological changes such as changes in information gathering technology, data entry technology, etc. This can be helpful for the company to make long term planning about the updating or replacing HR Information System in the organization. Company should also consider the changes in structure, size and ownership of HRIS (Kamoche, 2004).
