When determining where to move offshore as a company, the leaders of the organization must make several decisions.

The chosen leader should display strong ability to handle the peculiar issues surrounding international business, such as cultural sensitivity issues, differences in laws, regulations, business practices, etc. The leader should have the ability to work effectively with the people from different cultures and should have knowledge and experience of the culture of the country in which the proposed location of the firm will be established.
