Quality of data
Traditional data collection methods and online data collection methods are the two important methods of data collection. Due to following reasons, the quality of data gathered through online is not good as compared to traditional data collection method.

Technical problem
Technical problem is one of the important problems in online survey that affects the quality of the data. In some situation, during online survey some technical problems like computer problem, internet problem, hardware and software problem etc. affect this process. Technical problems destroy the continuity of the survey that destroys the quality of the data. Technical problem also affects the interest of the respondents and they do not take the interest in the survey and provide unnecessary information that affects the quality of the data (Granello & Wheaton, 2004).

In online survey, in some situation, servers become overloaded and survey page can time out that affects the survey and quality of the data. Technical problem does not affect the quality of the data in traditional method, because technical aspects are not used in the traditional method (Rubin & Babbie, 2009). Traditional methods are based on direct interaction that maintains the interest of the respondents and they provide accurate information, which maintains the quality of the data.
