In this case, we have a company called Turmeric &Spice (T&S) that wants us to conduct a survey consisting of one hundred percent of the spice importers in their business. The average rate of response for T&S currently is approximately thirty percent, which is significantly less than half of all potential responses. The population being surveyed of importers includes one hundred importers worldwide. Due to the circumstances stated, a metric based plan is needed by T&S to build buy-in from the one hundred importers so that we can expect a minimum of thirty percent of the importers to participate. The plan also needs to be designed to include timing building and delivering the survey. A data analysis also will constitute part of the plan. The total plan must add value through measurement and evaluation.

One of the most significant points in this plan is that it needs to be in the form of a survey, at the request of T&S. Because it is a survey, there are certain elements that need to be considered. The survey questions have to be unbiased and cannot be construed as loaded questions. The main goal of the survey is to get buy-in from as many of the one-hundred importers as possible. The information would be collected and subsequently analyzed for use by T&S. If the data is collected and analyzed properly, T&S can use the information to their advantage in several different ways. This will ultimately have the potential to increase the total global market share of T&S.
