What I will cite is a government organization which basically performs the function of assisting businesses that are operating in both domestic and foreign markets. It is involved in registering businesses, assisting them in their industry studies and in meeting potential buyers of their products, and in monitoring their trading operations to ensure that they comply with government rules, policies, and regulations.
Basically, the agency operates under a mix of functional and geographic forms of organizational structure. Departmentation was done according to functions such that examples of such departments include: registration, licensing, trade assistance, domestic trade, foreign trade, finance, and others.
