One of the most important challenges in the installation of a new software application such as an ERP package (SAP, JD Edwards, etc.) is the training of the employees of the organization with respect to working on such packaages. It is often being observed that implementation of such big and extensive packages throughout the whole organization is a fairly complex and cumbersome process and requires lot of help and contribution from the existing employees in the organization which is difficult to secure if they are not properly trained and are fairly resistant to the implementation process and the changes in the system. Most of the resistance of these employees will stem from the fact that they have no or little knowledge of the new software and they are happy using their current systems.
