1. Design and implement three strategies to reduce resistance to change in an organization.
The first strategy that will be implemented by me will be to obtain a pledge from everyone in the organization from the CEO to the accounting clerk that she is committed to making the change a success. How will this strategy be implemented? I will first explain the reasons for the change and tell them why the change is unavoidable. After they have been persuaded of the necessity of the change, I will reinforce it with reasons explained to them in their e-mails. Finally, I will send them a paper based commitment form which they will be required to endorse.
The second strategy that I will implement will be to invite suggestions from every person affected. I will request questions and clarifications during the open session. I will ask for suggestions to improve the change process, and I will make sure that every suggestion giver feel that his suggestion has been adequately considered ...
