This has led to a demand for improved performance. Organizational Development has provided the firms with improved performance. During the past 20 years Organizational Development has provided firms with improved decision making processes, interpersonal and group processes, and relevant leadership styles. Owing to several reasons there has been an increased demand for organizational self-renewal. These include a change in strategy, merger, or a need to expand globally. Organizational Development has during the last 20 years provided tools to deal with dysfunctional conflict, improved problem solving skills, and improved levels of trust among different members of the organization (Balzac, S, 2010), .
