How has work environments changed over the past five years due to the increasing focus on teams? What challenges and/or advantages have experienced with this shift?
Ever since industrialization, labor management and organizational hierarchical changes have been implemented in order to make productivity and efficiency as well as good business practices a rule in the organizational world in practically all walks of life. Organizational climate change due to a focus on team work efforts can be accredited to many organizations' success in the past few decades. It has become even more important ever since the cultural change in organizations to make their business more global and reach out to far flung market regions of the world. Just by nature of the expansion of business organizations like this, it is imperative that organizations welcome the method of team work in the work environment. Team work can be the "standard of excellence" and symbol of a "unified commitment" by a group of focused workers/employees for the success of any good organization.
Increasing focus on team effort is perhaps one of the most crucial concept as it forms the basis for all progress to be made on the human capital level and the utilization of its intelligence and skills.
