The primary human implication of a major organizational change is the stiff resistance posed by the employees in the organization, primarily due to fear, apprehension and lack of knowledge and education about the proposed change. For example, let us take the example of implementation of a new software solution, such as ERP in the organization, which transforms many manual procedures to automated one. However, whenever such automation of processes and tasks takes place due to such technology implementation, employees pose stiff resistance as they are fearful about various factors, such as loss of job due to reduced manual work, loss of autonomy or control in their tasks, fear about handling the system due to lack of knowledge or education about the technology, etc.
