Research Design
This study will make use of a qualitative type of research, particularly a phenomenological type. Basically, it is study on a phenomenon which is unique in the military - the Don't ask - Don't Tell Policy. The don't ask part is a principle that military personnel are there to follow and never complain. On the other hand, the Don't Tell Policy is a mandate to them to protect the secrecy and sensitivity of all military - related information, for the sake of the common good.
This study intends to investigate two points of view - the superior or the officers and the subordinates or the non - officers.
On the part of the officers, interviews and observations will be conducted on how they see to it that the said policies are imposed and are complied with by all concerned. Their strategies and tactics as well as their control ...
