These actions are that should appoint outside public relations consultants to handle response. Further, BP has been taking elaborate steps to ignore criticism, instead it should face criticism and should reply to queries made by public, environmentalists and the government. BP is not encouraging environmentalists to take active part in the clean up operation. Instead it is ignoring them. BP should actively receive assistance from environmental groups and should involve their volunteers in the clean up operations. BP is trying to shift blame for the delays in clean up(2).
