The contention of Dresser Industrial is incorrect. Acadia existed in Canadian Maritime provinces of Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Some of these also existed in the American State of Maine. The contention of Dresser Industrial that there was never a country of Acadia is incorrect and so Cavin's claim is covered by Title VII. The Acadians have a distinctly different culture, are Francophone and have cultural ties that are connected to France.
