Solution Summary

The human relations approach is one of the means by which a manager handles conflicts that arise in groups and organization as a whole. This approach advocates that conflict is a natural occurrence in any group or in any organization. As such, it cannot be avoided. The only option for a manager is to manage it in a way that the end result would be both individual and organizational performance.

The manager should be alert of the nature and the stage in which the conflict happens. It is only through this that conflict could serve as an opportunity for him to learn more about the organization and identify areas that need to be addressed.
