In my opinion, mass marketing is definitely dead. In these times, companies have to specifically target their markets. Mass marketing did work at one time, but the main reason why it worked was because we were in a very viable, thriving economy. In the past few decades, we have had major economic unrest. We've been through at least two separate recessions, and we're still seeing high prices and a lack of economic expansion in most areas. Because of the general state of the economy, companies have to pinpoint and target specific markets, and then cater to those markets. ...
