The humanitarian cause that I am describing is that of the scavengers of Africa. These are children that scavenge on piles of dumps and risk their lives for a few cents. Often these dumps contain hazardous waste like broker computer systems and other electronic goods. It is not uncommon for children to contact incurable diseases and die.
Marketing strategy:
The product that I am offering is that scavengers will be admitted to local schools and will be housed in a hostel. The scavenging area will be fenced off and vigil will be maintained to ensure that the scavengers do not return to these piles. Those scavengers that needed the money for supporting their family will have their family members registered and they will be paid a fixed sum of money every month. Those scavengers that are addicted to substance will be detoxified. We are non-profit.
