Personal Action Plan

Personal Action Plan; Step 3: Goal Setting & Step 4: Technology Plan

Step 3- Goal Setting

Make a list of the things that need to occur in order for your vision to become a reality.
The list might include long-term goals (finish my degree) or more immediate concerns (childcare while I attend class).
Try to be specific and list everything for which you need to plan
You will use this list later in your Personal Action Plan
Be sure to include strategies that will assist you to reach these goals

Step 4 Technology Plan

In this program you will be required to complete all of your tasks using your computer. When technological errors/issues occur you need a plan for how you will get your work done and your tasks turned in by the due dates. How will you gather support at these times?

Write about your potential technology challenges and how you might address them in your Personal Action Plan.

For example, what will you do if you have lost your tasks you thought you saved? Perhaps you have a friend that is good with computers that can help you out. Maybe you could refer to a book.

How will you get Internet access if you don't have it or if it is down so you can't use the Virtual Campus? Is there a public library in your town that you can use? These are just a couple of examples.

Spend some time reflecting on everything that could go wrong and ways to get support if/when these things happen.

You will use this list later in your Personal Action Plan
