To experimentally verify the existence of a hormone, I would do the following five steps. These steps would be performed on monkeys or willing human participants who do not mind having their organs removed, ground up and re-implanted.
A) The suspected tissue or gland of hormone origin gets ablated. This should produce deficiency symptoms in our subject.
