A hospital administrator was concerned with the time it took for patients' medical records to be processed after discharge. The hospital determined that all records should be processed within 5 days of discharge. Any record not processed within 5 days of discharge was considered to be non conforming. The number of patients discharged and the number of records not processed within the 5 day standard were recorded for a 30 day period as follows:
