Technology is not an end in itself. It only gives information. Information means nothing without the ability to translate it into real meaning and purpose. Globalization has overloaded us with information.
Web pages and segmented TV channels isolate us from each other. It created "informational special interests". Yet, at the same time, the ownership of this media is tightly concentrated. Web pages give the illusion of equality, when of course, CNN's page has more power and authority than my neighbors.
