What is the relevance of the resurrection of Yeshua?

Yeshua's resurrection demonstrated one central fact of the universe. He expressed it well to Marta, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" (Yochanan/John 11:25). In other words, as life itself, he becomes the source of life for everyone else -- provided they trust him and live according to his will.

Let's look at some particulars. Kefa/Peter spoke about the resurrection of Yeshua on that first Shavuot/Pentecost after the resurrection. In Acts 2:24-31, Kefa is witnessing to the fact that David the prophet/king prophesied of the resurrection of Messiah in Tehillim/Psalms 16:10. There, we read, "For thou wilt not leave my soul in the grave, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." Clearly, as Kefa/Peter argued, David did remain in the grave and he did see corruption. Therefore, David was prophesying about the Messiah.

So, Moshiach/Messiah ends up being a kind of firstfruits from the grave. But, to what end? To what purpose? What is the relevance of the resurrection to us? Or better put, what relevance is Moshiach's resurrection to Israel?

In Acts 4:2, the apostles were being criticized by the Sadducees (priestly sect) because they taught the resurrection of the dead through Yeshua.
