Riverwoods Behavioral Health System (RBH)
Introduction
For this project, I first researched community resources and made a list of such resources in the Atlanta, Georgia Metro areas, in total I called 21 resources, which was rather challenging. particularly due to individuals not being available to pick up the phones, individuals not feeling comfortable or confident discussing the information my project requested, resources not offering services that are as rich and diverse, and individuals offering to take my name and number and have someone more qualified return the call to discuss the information I requested. Unfortunately, several individuals were also away on vacation, and with the time sensitivity of this project, I decided to settle on two very different resources that offers very different range of services to lend variety to my project. Most important of course, the two resources had individuals such as Morgan W., of Riverwoods Behavioral Health System (RBH) and Josh Bailey of the Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission (ACBRM), who were qualified, knowledgeable, willing and eager to speak with me, to help facilitate my project.

Background
Morgan, one of the chief intake counsellors at RBH, was very enthusiastic to speak with me. She however felt comfortable providing me with only her first name and the initial of her surname. I assured her if that made her comfortable that was just fine. I asked her to tell me more about Riverwood's Behavioral Health system. Morgan explained that RBH is a leading inpatient 94-bed treatment program for men and women. The center provides professional care to treat their addictions and behavioral health issues. The facility prides itself on offering a full spectrum of care that adapts accordingly, and is tailored to the needs of its multi-demographic and diverse patient population, to help them regain happy, and healthy lives.

RBH Clinical Population, and Program Services
RBH's goal is to provide tailored treatment for each patient they serve. As such, the facility has many specific programs and levels of care including but not limited to: separate programming for adolescents (10-17 yrs.), adults, and seniors (18 and older), and specialty tracks for substance abuse (including detox), co-occurring disorders; as well as psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. While it is primarily an inpatient hospital facility, RBH also offer PHP and IOP levels of care in its treatment center. When asked, Morgan was quick to add that the facility prides itself on offering a full spectrum of care that adapts to the needs of its multi-demographic and diverse patient population. Morgan quipped that RBH feels that a communal vision creates an intimate, and familial setting which makes it easier for the facility to treat its patients with a personalized touch and hospitality that is often lost in the intimidating and threatening nature of traditional hospitals.

As part of its intake process, the staff at RBH, is committed to helping patients enjoy better, more enriched lives. As such, Morgan was eager to include the fact that RBH staff is always there; ready, waiting, available, and eager to guide all patients from the initial point of crisis with Inpatient Stabilization, throughout the recovery process with state of the art Outpatient Programs, and then as patients transition into healthy living with RBH Aftercare Groups. Overall, RBH strive to create a supportive and caring environment for each patient that enters the facility. As Morgan explained, this segment of the process, is in fact the most crucial component that RBH offer its patients and their families as they begin the healing process.

RBH's Staff
Morgan stated that: RBH's conviction is that: 'the care supplied is only as good as those who supply it'. To this end, RBH is immensely proud in its established team of multi-disciplinary professionals who make it their primary mission to improve the lives of everyone they care for. RBH multidisciplinary team includes professionals such as:
• Mental health ...
