Self can be given many different conceptual meanings - personality, behavior, moods or thinking and cognition. Each person has their unique family life situation and relationships which help shape that person's personality.
A sense of self hood become a vivid aspect of the evolution of a growing individual, once she or he experiences an expansion of their immediate environments from home to community and the larger society and through these experiences, development of a world view become possible in which the person has to place own self in the center or at the outside to be instrumental on the environment, at least to the extent of managing to ensure a survival of own self and anyone who the person cares of such as family or friends.
