Outlines are tentative at best. Often, once we begin writing the paper we find that some things better and have a better flow in a different order, and the likes. It sounds like the argument is the age-old nature versus nurture controversy. In other words, the question is, Are we born with a complete set of personality traits (stable) or do we learn them (dynamic), or is it a little of both?
