A while later you receive an e-mail from one of the other psychologists you met in Las Vegas:

Hope all is well for you. I've been doing great since I left Las Vegas. My boss heard about our presentation at the Conference, and now he wants me to publish! Can you believe it? At any rate, I'm not so good at the research portion of what we do, so I am tapping my resources. Do you have any info about sociological theories that could utilize cognitive restructuring as a tool for changing criminal thinking and preventing future crimes? If you could give me a couple of examples, that would be great! Also, three web links where I can find additional information would really be helpful. You are a lifesaver!

Sincerely,

Phyllis Martin

Reply to your friend and give her some examples of sociological theories that could benefit from the use of cognitive restructuring to reform criminal behavior and provide at least three web links (other than those in your current material) with which your friend can use to continue research on her own

This made him slam on his breaks, and he waited for the other person to go through the intersection. This behavior set off his anger, and he became irate and started yelling at the other driver. This was an automatic reaction on his part. The cognitive restructuring theory could teach him how to handle his excessive anger.
