One of the key challenges that are commensurate with the outcome questionnaire - 45, is the fact that the perception of the patients that are responding to the questions on this questionnaire has a great effect on the answers that are given. This essentially means that when patients answer questions on this questionnaire, such as whether or not their symptoms have been reduced to a considerable degree after treatment, this will be based upon the patient's perception and assessment, which may not be grounded in reality.
