Human memory does not have a physical place in the brain in which the memory is stored We know that engram might be probable theoretically ascribed 'physical' location for our memories to be. Research done by Engel Tulving and others note that there are various forms of memories.
There is short term memory and then long term memory. According to this model, we have the STM , which is the organism's STM and then the procedural memory which translates into the LTM for future retrievals and usage. When a current memory is being stored in the brain, it is first noted to a note pad and then it enter the long term memory for preservation in the human brain. This is called a memory processing model. Chomsky, Neisser and other shave also linked the STM and LTM with psycho linguistics.

The role or contribution of heredity and environment is a classic debates in the field of psychology. Most theorists believe that in the contemporary times, the both the heredity as well as environmental factors play a combined role in the shaping of the personality of the individuals, including the state of their physical and psychological health. This is also called nature vs. nurture debate. Originally many theorists believed that the heredity alone determine the fate of the individuals' intelligence and life success as a result of that intelligence. The book called The Bell Curve by Herrnstein and Murray (1994) described the studies done by the two intelligence researchers and they confidently said that race has a key role to play in the intelligence.
