Ask Custom Question

The questions are:

1. how do you decide how many people you are going to interview (or how many case files) and how do you make your expectations clear?

** do you get them to sign a written consent and outline the expectations in form.

2. would the purpose of this research be to determine if an individuals socioeconomic level coincides with that individuals propensity to abuse?

3. How would I select and recruit my sample?

4. Is there any potential risk or harm to participants or yourself?
If yes, what are the potential risks, and what do you intend to do to reduce them?

*** I think the answer to this is no since confidentiality will be ensured. The participants will either be in the system for abusing or a victim of abuse.....

5. How will you take into consideration cultural diversity (for example, would it be prudent to use interpreters, or translators)? And, how would I address issues of power imbalances? (I would think since the research will be done through surveys and questionnaires there will not be power imbalances because both methods are not threatening)?
