Reflect on a challenging learning experience that you have encountered in either a professional or personal environment. Select one of the experiences and, in 1050-1400 word paper, address the following items:
Describe attitudes and suppositions that the learner brought into the selected experience. Working in a challenging environment, where there are in built obstacles of lack of funding and uncooperative school setting, it became really difficult to manage an after school program in a highly underserved and diverse school setting.
In a very difficult work environment, I worked hard to creatively think about all the options which could enable me to develop good relations with the school administration and teachers. But, this was of no avail. My conundrum was not being able to full fill my duties according to the contract, since it was difficult to conduct outreach for my after school program activities, where I was unable to put any flyers on schools' bulletin boards or ask for everyday announcements to approach all students and for them to hear about the program, so that they could join it at the beginning of the semester.
In regard to the learning experience itself, analyze what types of sensations and perceptive processes were involved. Speaking of classical conditioning, when I realized that even if I was polite, the school officials will not be able to give my program any space, I became conditioned for not asking them any help ...
