    Which of the following is usually considered the most important element of leadership?

    the followers, the leader, the situation, all of these

    I would argue that the leader is most important, followed by the situation, and then perhaps the followers.

    1. As far as the leader goes - the single most important quality a leader can possess - in my opinion - is good judgment.

    Nothing beats judgment - not intelligence, not courage, not charisma - although all of these qualities are or can be very important as well.
