Thermistor connected to ADC
Not what you're looking for?
A thermistor is used to monitor the temperature of the cooling air to a motor control unit. The air temperature must remain in the range 0 degree Centigrade to 70 degree Centigrade for correct operation. The thermistor is connected to a 12-bit ADC as shown in Figure A3 in the attachment.
(i) What are the maximum and minimum codes from the ADC (in hexadecimal), which correspond to the extremes of the temperature range?
(ii) If the output from the ADC is (7A4)Hex, what is the temperature in degree Centigrade?
