    (a) Calculate the change in output code from the ADC for the transducer if the gap is changed from 500 micrometers to 600 micrometers.

    (b) If the transducer was removed from the circuit what would be the DC offset voltage measured at the output?

    (c) What is the bandwidth of the system response to changes in input gap?

    Solution:

    a)

    C(transducer) = 0.008854 * A / d (1)
where A is the area, and d is the gap of transducer.

    V(out) - V(in) = i(in) * ((R//(1/jwC)) (2)

    i(in) = V(in) / (1/jwC(transducer)) ...

    Solution Summary

It does not calculate the values, however it gives various formulas and equations and briefly tells how these can be used to obtain the answers.
