2D Electrostatic with boundary condition 0<=x<=1,0<=y<=1
A charged wire is located at xo and yo and parallel to the axis of a uniform, square, hollow, conducting channel. After factoring out the constants, poisson equation for electric potential is
Del square u(x,y)=-delta(x-x0)*delta(y-y0)
The boundary condition at the conducting surface is u(x,0)=u(x,1)=u(0,y)=u(1,y)=0. The density function in 2 D grid is ro(xi,yi)=delta(xi-x0)*del(yi-y0)=-1/(deltax*deltay) for xi=x0 and yj=y0 and otherwise ro(xi,yi)=0. Plot equipotential lines [u(x,y)]=constant.
