1) L has a slope of ¾ and x-intercept of (-4,0) y=bix+bo
Equation of a line L with slope m and which passes through (x1, y1) is given by
y-y1=m(x-x1)
(x1, y1) is (-4,0)
m=3/4
Put these values in the above equation
y-0=(3/4)*[x-(-4)]
y=(3/4)x+3

Comparing it with given format y=bix+bo, we get
