Hasselkuss (2002) discusses the importance of evidence-based practice in order to provide the best treatment intervention for the clients. She argues that in the past, evidence was still used to inform practice, like using one's experience or experience of others or clinicians might rely on the findings of one study supporting a method or other evidence.
