Using the Pyramid Tracker (http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov) or a fast food nutritional analysis guide (usually available at fast food establishments if you ask), compute the nutritional value of a fast-food meal (including drink).
Step 1) Write down the meal and the total kcals it provided.
Step 2) Determine the total number of grams of each macronutrient in the complete meal.

Step 3) Calculate the number of kcalories for each macronutrient.

** Note that the total should equal the total number of kcals consumed for that meal.
Step 4) Calculate the percent of kcalories from each macronutrient.

Fat kcals/Total kcals consumed x 100 = ___% kcalories from fat
Step 5) Evaluate the nutritional value of your meal by comparing your percent of each macronutrient to the recommended percent.
