What I need is below:
I did this assignment on an 82 year old patient with stage 4 esophageal cancer. I used the University of Maryland as the organization that would treat and facilitate treatment surrounding this case.

• What are the prevalent health concerns in this community?

The most prevalent health concerns within the community include chronic health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc. and the lack of quality access to care for many residents within the community. Prince George's County, which is the county where the hospital is located, has been designated as the wealthiest county in the country with a predominantly African American population. Nevertheless, this County in Maryland suffers from the same healthcare disparities that exist in counties across the United States with predominantly minority populations, which is disportionately higher rates of chronic diseases that are placated upon the racial and ethnic demographics wherein race is a defining factor as to why neighboring counties that are predominantly white don't suffer from these disparities.

Some of the contributing factors that are responsible for these disparities are lower socioeconomic status, inaccessibility to healthier food options, and a lack of access to quality healthcare.
