Verbal communication is defined as the words we speak and deliver to others, which can be very powerful words (Wood 69). Verbal words can comfort us, amuse us, humor us and so on. Verbal communication has meaning and definition attached to it and it's highly important to know what we're saying before we indeed say our messages (Wood 69).

As a tool, we can't take back the words we say toward others. Once we communicate with others, it's done and over with. Every communication act is different and unique compared to other communication conversations. That's what makes communication so unique and in this case, verbal communication (Wood 69).
