Using teen pregnancy and prenatal care, conduct research and write a plan for a research paper on your issue that will be written. The purpose of your research is to locate sources related to the topic in order to become more informed of the issue as discussed in credible outside sources and then select appropriate sources to support your thesis and main points.

To begin the process, use the AIU library databases and online search tools to conduct research and locate five sources related to your issue and thesis statement. Evaluate sources for currency, relevancy, and credibility/authority. General commercial websites should not be used for this assignment (e.g. no Wikipedia). Also, encyclopedia reference books or dictionaries should not be cited as sources.

Your sources must include:

scholarly articles from scholarly journals, including academic or peer reviewed journals
editorial article from a newspaper or magazine (you may use same editorial source found for the DB 2)
book (no book reviews, reference books or general dictionary sources
organizational, government or educational Internet source (.org, .gov, or .edu)
The research project plan must contain the following parts:

Thesis statement (argument claim)
Topic outline of supporting points, including specific details for each point
Annotated Bibliography including five citations in APA documentation format, each with a brief summary. In your annotation, write a summary in your own words about the source main point. Identify key expert views or evidence which will help support specific points in your outline.

What do people argue about when they make their cases for when life starts in the womb?

In what states is abortion more accepted? Or which states have the the most forceful laws against abortion?

Do you see what I'm getting at? First you need a question before you can have a thesis.

Why is Roe v. Wade considered to be the most important decision the Supreme Court ever made regarding abortion?
