    The Syrian conflict has lasted for over two years now and has taken the lives of tens of thousands of citizens. The conflict has caused over 500,000 Syrians to flee to neighboring countries and has led to the imminent collapse of the public health care system. Syrians are dying not only from bullets and bombs but also from a lack of antibiotics, surgical supplies and hospitals. There is no end in sight to the conflict which appears to only be escalating. Talks surrounding the use and cover up of weapons of mass destruction in the form of sarin and other nerve gases are ongoing.
