In order to augment globalization, Dl allows students to gather data from all parts of the world, collaborate with other students and instructors internationally, and improve the nature of pedagogy quite dramatically. Besides increased accessibility, Dl further allows students to be more self-disciplined learners. Another benefit is the increase in test scores and other forms of standardized achievement. Whereas current scores often reflect financial status or location, computers serve as an equalizing effect, allowing all students of various races, socioeconomic backgrounds, and language statuses, the ability to success.
