The children are the customers so the processes, planning, and curriculum are geared for those customers. The students will then absorb the materials, process them, and assimilate them. They will also test the applications by putting their own personal experience to use and use problem solving abilities to the test.
What are the benefits and drawbacks of student empowerment as a leadership philosophy in schools or training organizations? Improvements and benefits of student empowerment means the students will be more engaged, it will improve student learning, and it will give long lasting value to a learned product or material. The drawbacks include the students may not be able to see through their projects or goals through due to a lack of resources.
How does this impact stakeholder relationship in an educational environment?
The impact is that it will limit the effectiveness of the strategy or may not include all students. Because of this, educational leaders may put the strategy on the sidelines are marginalize the strategy. They may not pursue the strategy all because the strategy might be geared for a particular audience and all people or student bodies are not the same.
