    As a student, I had tremendous difficulty with math, especially geometry. I couldn't grasp the concepts or understand what was being taught. By the time I finally learned and understood the lesson, the teacher had already moved onto the next lesson and I was always behind. As a teacher myself, I now understand how difficult it is to teach to students with differing abilities.
