As you insist how one's knowledge of (Specially-Designed Academic-Instruction in English Students) SDAIE and (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) SIOP has influenced one's ideas about lesson plan development and implementation, for me, I am better able to differentiate my lessons and tailor them to meet the unique linguistic, social, emotional, and academic needs of these learners. I can use the theories as a road map as I formulate my classroom applications and activities to ensure that I am successfully accommodating these students' needs. This knowledge also affirmed that I need to check frequently for comprehension and address areas of confusion or un-clarity.
