Theories give researchers a conceptual framework for understanding problems and/or research questions. In the discussion forum, state your research question (my research questions is: how children change over time throughout their academic experiences and to what degree earlier developmental patterns and experiences can predict future growth and development in the child.) and the problem your research attempts to solve.
Then, identify two to three theories that could be relevant to your study. Below are sites to help:
