A computer data base is defined as "an integrated collection of logically related data elements. A database consolidates many records previously stored in separate files that so that a common pool of data serves many applications."(Obrien and Marakas, 2008).
The computer needs to be able to address many of the applications that can manage customer, clients, appointments, billing and employees. Software that exist for local companies can utilize this need is Quicken. It is an expensive software based item that can be used to handle many of the demands of a company.
