Do all DBMSs have their own language? Is it similar to a programming language? Explain.
A database system provides a data definition language to specify the data manipulation language and a database schema to express database queries and updates. In reality data-manipulation languages and the data-definition are not two detach languages. As an alternative they simply outline parts of a single database language, such as the widely used SQL languages.
