I have partial density of states data I'd like to plot in the form of either (or both) of the attached documents, but I'm having some trouble figuring it out on gnuplot. I realized this is not a physics question, but I'm hoping someone has experience with making "stacked" plots of data.

Note: I MUST use gnuplot. Please tell me exactly how (in a gnuplot code file) to plot data to match either of these attachments.

    #start with:
    set term ...
    set out ...
    set size 1.0, 1.0
    set origin 0.0, 0.0
    set multiplot
    ...
    #For each plot in stack
    set size 1.0, <y-height>
    set origin 0.0, <cumulative y-height of till last plot>
    ...

#In given diagram there are 6 plots in a stack, each height, h = 1/6 = 0.167, For bottom most plot:
    set size 1.0, 0.167
    set origin 0.0, 0.0
    ...
    #for next
    set size 1.0, 0.167
    set origin 0.0, 0.167
    ...
